Surviving Alien Abduction

I believe that UFOs are spaceships or extraterrestrial craft... The nations of the world are currently working together in the investigation of the UFO phenomenon. There is an international exchange of data. Maybe when this group of nations acquires more precise and definite information, it will be possible to release the news to the world."

-General Carlos Castro Cavero, General in the Spanish Air Force and former Commander of Spain's Third Aerial Region, in an interview with J. J. Benitez, La Gaceta del Norte, Balboa, Spain, June 27, 1976.

Below you'll find several techniques that have helped many abductees to slow or stop their abductions altogether. There is no guarantee they will stop. Mine have slowed but not stopped. I also have a great mix of people around me, from abductees, to soccer moms,  I watch some off beat movies and keep myself entertained too. Thank God for  friends! C.Johnston NC

It's so important to try to fight for consciousness and lucidity during your experiences!  Know they cannot take your thoughts away from you but can create illusions that make experiences seem dreamlike in nature. By exercising your mind and fighting for lucidity, I have found that the abductions have slowed and have nearly stopped with certain groups.  Colleen

''I found that keeping journal on my bedside table or and one next to my couch at night helps me to remember to write things down after they happened. I also have a good friend who's also experiencing this enigma and we talk often to help us keep focused and to remember that the experiences aren't an illusion. Sometimes you forget that." Karen, New Jersey, USA  ( last name withheld)

"After an experience and getting over the tale-tale symptoms that I usually have, I try to do normal things such as reading a book, sewing - absolutely anything that helps to 'normalize'. If I don't do something normal, then I get caught up in worrying about what they are doing and begin to feel so overwhelmed because I know the abductions can't be stopped in my case. If I don't do something with a semblance of normalcy to it - I feel like they've (meaning the aliens) won in their effort's to control my life" ~M P Morehouse, Colorado, USA

"I have surrounded myself with others who are experiencing abductions through a support group and we get together every so often to go out to a movie or eat or go bowling. We also compare notes, marks and bruises to do a reality check that we aren't alone in being abducted, it seriously helps." Jamie Smith - New Orleans, LA USA

"It's sometimes hard to cope, especially just after an abduction. I get the old familiar panicky feelings and then I remember to call a friend who understands what I am going through because they are going through it too! It really helps to talk about it when I am feeling so frightened and alone in this. It helps because it reminds me I am not insane and have people that do understand it." B.K.  Chicago, IL

I try to do self comforting things, and things that help to keep me grounded like watch a comedy, play cards, or video games. Believe it or not it really helps! Allen, Ventura, CA USA

I am new at this and scared out of my mind at times. You guys have helped me very much so far. I even tried to stay awake all night and sleep in the day, I found a bar tending job that does help keep me from obsessing about alien and abduction. Sometimes I get off work in the pre dawn hours. A friend of mine follows me home without asking why, she's hot anyway and we've developed into a relationship. Something good has come out of this. Mark Wilson, Oklahoma

Wow am I glad to find this site! This is so cool to help get a cap on my mind of aloneness and I want to thank people who share here and elsewhere on the site. Makes a big difference in how I cope and sleep. I used to wake up at the tiny little things, limb cracking, dog barking. Hope you add another chat group and discussion list again! I really enjoyed that. I know some cult woman got on it, but maybe you can get a really secure site Missy C. - N.Y. State
